Financial Coaching

Comets Financial Coaching (CFC) falls under the umbrella of Tallahassee Comets, Inc. (Comets), a federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation.  CFC specializes in budgeting, debt elimination, dealing with collectors, and goal setting.  Comets recognizes that there is a financial education void in its community and is excited about being a part of the grassroot efforts to change the way you think about your money and to champion the cause of debt-free living.  CFC is a program geared towards serving the best interest of the consumer.  Making better choices will lead to a brighter financial future, and our program will help you see what those choices are as well as assist with developing sensible solutions.

The coaching program is based on The Dave Ramsey’s 7 Baby Steps, which is a common-sense approach to tackling debt and building wealth one step at a time.  The coaching program focuses on educating, encouraging, and empowering you:

• To be intentional with your finances so you can experience the sense of empowerment that results from having a financial plan;
• To turn from practices that are not working for you and develop winning habits that result in financial peace and freedom; and
• To trade hopelessness for hope and realize where you are now is not where you have to stay with proper planning.

CFC has a well-qualified staff with over 30 years of combined experience in budgeting and financial management.  The coaching staff has been certified as a master financial coach through Ramsey Solutions.  The CFC staff has the mindset of a teacher, who will push and encourage you to be the best you can be.  We understand that everyone has made a mistake with money at some point.  That is why we provide a listening ear without judgement of past decisions.  Our focus is on your future, not the past!

Our services are available to anyone who needs assistance.  Appointments may be conducted in person, over the telephone, or via video conference.  All matters discussed, facts revealed, and the nature and content of all documents provided or generated on your behalf will be held confidential.  Only upon receipt of a written authorization from you will your information be revealed to a third party.
